Dear friends, supporters, and visitors,
On January 15, 2008, I was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of
Representatives, filling the seat of former Rep. Mark Wagoner, who resigned
to be appointed to the Ohio Senate.
It is truly an honor to be able to serve the residents of the 46th house
district at the Statehouse. Our county is faced with many challenges and
I have worked to continue to be a strong advocate for our priorities.
As an active member of our community for over forty years, I am deeply
committed to improving the quality of life in Northwest Ohio. I previously
served as a member of Sylvania City Council, having most recently served
as President of the council. This experience in local government has provided
a great foundation for me to be an effective voice in Columbus.
I am currently the co-owner of Noble & Sears, Inc., an independent
firm that focuses on employee benefit issues for small businesses. As
a successful small business owner, I have the knowledge and understanding
of what it takes to keep jobs and to create new ones.
As a member of the Ohio House, I am working hard with my colleagues to
help jump-start our economy and attract the kinds of high-paying jobs
that will provide better opportunities for our young people to stay and
work in Lucas County and Ohio.
I appreciate you taking the time to visit my website and to learn more
about my campaign. I look forward to continuing to serve you as a member
of the Ohio House of Representatives. If I can be of can be of assistance
to you, please call me at 419-460-4600 or e-mail me at Barbara@barbarasears.com
Sincerely,
Barbara Sears
